Out in the Open Air
It may be a hub of cultural and creative activity, but during the summer months, the Peninsula is the perfect place to exercise your body as well as your mind — or just to enjoy the green spaces and unwind.
River Walks
Take a leisurely stroll along the riverside path, enjoying panoramic views of the Thames. Pack a picnic and find a quiet spot to soak it all in with friends or family, or take a book, sit back and enjoy some quiet time to yourself.
Running
If you're more of a runner than a walker, the traffic-free freedom of the Peninsula is the perfect place to stretch your legs. Lace up your shoes and go!
Cycling
Prefer to go on two wheels? No problem, Greenwich is a safe haven for cycling. If you plan to visit by bike, just follow the river to reach us and then pedal the whole Peninsula at your leisure.
Central Park
Spanning nearly 2.7 acres, this tree-lined park provides a calming escape from the day-to-day. Perfect for picnics, dog walking, outdoor yoga, playing with the kids or just getting some vitamin D, Central Park is a popular spot with our Peninsula residents and visitors.
Basketball Court
Fancy a game? The Peninsula has its very own rooftop basketball court within the Design District. With Canary Wharf providing a stunning backdrop, it’ll be the best setting you’ve ever played in. The basketball court is available to book by the hour, for private events and even for location shoots.
Golf Driving Range
Flanked by stunning views across the river, it’s no wonder this is one of Europe's most popular driving ranges. Whether perfecting your swing, destressing or having fun with friends and family, the driving range is a great way to spend a morning, afternoon or even a long summer's evening, (it's from 8am till 11pm). Grab your skates and head down to Studio Weave's 33 installation, where a group of London's finest roller skaters are often to be found showing off their moves.
Wild Swing Mini Golf
Designed by the artistic talents of Lee Baker and Catherine Borowski from Graphic Rewilding, this miniature golf experience promises a fun and creative adventure through a wildflower wonderland. Stop by the Canteen courtyard in Design District to have a putt.
