What's coming next at Greenwich Peninsula?

With 150 acres at our fingertips, and three out of seven districts already thriving, there’s lots going on at Greenwich Peninsula. Here’s a snapshot of some of the exciting developments happening across the place.

New Homes

Discover the latest phase to launch at Greenwich Peninsula; Peninsula Riverfront. Situated in the heart of the Upper Riverside district with exclusive Rent to Buy scheme and flexible payment options.

We will also be welcoming a swathe of new residents to Greenwich Peninsula from October 2025, with Peninsula Gardens delivering more than 400 new homes.

Work is underway across other areas of the Peninsula, bringing forward more than 2,000 new homes in the next few years in Lower Riverside, Brickfields and Meridian Quays.

Retail

Canteen Food Hall & Bar has welcomed Greeko to their delicious line up of street food. Greeko brings bold Mediterranean flavours to the Peninsula offering gyros, mezze, and Greek boxes. Crafted with fresh ingredients and a modern Mediterranean twist, every dish is a delicious journey into Grecian-inspired cuisine.

If you haven’t already, pop down to Caspino next time you are on the Peninsula. This family-run restaurant inspired by the rich culinary heritage of the Mediterranean and Middle East, brings a unique offering of freshly brewed coffee, artisanal pastries, and wholesome, flavourful meals served throughout the day. Conveniently located next to The Tide and Maracuya by the river at Upper Riverside, Caspino is open daily from 8AM to 10PM.

Greenwich Kitchen and Santo have closed their doors and work is underway to prepare for an exciting new food and drink destination coming soon.

We are also pleased to be welcoming Sainsbury’s to Greenwich Peninsula, opening soon.

Leisure

Ready for a new fitness challenge? Gather gym is now open at Greenwich Peninsula, bringing a fresh approach to fitness. Formerly known as Greenwich Training, this locally established gym has been a trusted name in the area for the past 15 years. Located at Upper Riverside, next to the Tide, Gather is offering small group training and bespoke fitness packages prioritising community and social connection.

Gather is the gym for people who want real results without the typical gym experience.

Development and Planning Updates

Golf Driving Range

The Greenwich Peninsula Golf Driving Range is one of the busiest driving ranges in the UK and attracts thousands of visitors a year to the Peninsula. The Golf Driving Range temporary planning permission has been secured for another 10 years.

Decked Car Park

Upon completion of the Silvertown Tunnel in early 2025, we can reconfigure current car parking facilities, enabling us to reduce and re-locate some of the existing surface-level car parking spaces to the existing decked car park. The temporary retention of the decked car park will free up valuable space across the Peninsula – for new homes or meanwhile uses – and centralise parking which will positively reduce traffic congestion.

Coming Soon

We are also in discussion with other sports and entertainment brands to activate space across the Peninsula for the benefit for those who live, work or visit here. Watch this space!
