Discover the delicate craft of Chinese knot-making in this interactive workshop guided by Yi-Craft expert instructors.

Held in the heart of Design District in Building D4 and guided by Yi Craft expert instructors, you’ll delve into the techniques behind this intricate art form, a centuries-old practice originating from China’s Tang and Song dynasties. Chinese knotting traditionally uses silk or satin cord, known for its strength and flexibility, to create elegant patterns imbued with cultural significance.

Participants will create beautiful decorative ornaments featuring classic knot designs, often seen in home decor, fashion accessories, and as meaningful gifts. Each knot carries its own symbolic meaning, representing unity, luck, and prosperity, making it a perfect keepsake or thoughtful token for the Lunar New Year.

Perfect for all skill levels, this hands-on session provides a meaningful way to connect with tradition while exploring your creative side. Join us to learn, create, and celebrate in this unique and engaging workshop.
